Defence Authority Country & Golf Club convention center A wonderful addition to the Club’s facilities is the newly built Convention Center. This state of the art structure is the future venue of all the major conferences & conventions to be held in the cosmopolitan city of Karachi. Situated in the heart of the Club, close to the practice range, the venue has easy access for the guests through the Club’s main entrance.
The Building is comprised of an entrance foyer, a high ceiling pillar less hall, two boardrooms, a modern business Centre and underground car park for 150 cars. The main hall can accommodate 1500 guests in theater style seating and can be subdivided into three portions. Full length sound proof partitions can be used to separate the halls making it convenient to have three separate events taking place simultaneously. Each hall is equipped with projection rooms with separate entrance where the presentations can be projected onto the main screen with out bothering the audience. Hall 1 & 2 can each accommodate 300 gusts while hall 3 can seat 700 delegates. The boardrooms on the first floor can each accommodate 20 guests. Both the rooms are equipped with u-shape wooden table, swivel chairs and projection screen making it a perfect venue for high profile board meetings and training sessions. All the secretarial needs of the Conference or meeting can be met at our Business Centre equipped with latest brand computers connected with high speed internet, laser printers, fax & photocopier for the organizers’ and delegates’ requirements. Our highly trained staff is at your service throughout the day for all the secretarial services required. With all the above facilities and services the DA Country & Golf Club’s Convention Centre is a facility which is second to none in the city and will soon be the first choice for the meeting and conference planners for all the major events of the city.
