ABOUT institute

The Defence Authority boasts a network of 20 academic institutions which include schools and colleges, imparting quality education based upon a diverse curriculum that is designed to meet the needs of the student community in the 21st century. It caters to a student community that exceed 16000 and is supported by a team of dynamic and high caliber teachers which number 950 plus.

In pursuance of its vision to promote a legacy of learning, the Directorate of Education has traversed another milestone by establishing the Defence Institute of Technical Education (DITE).

The Defence Institute of Technical Education will provide technical education in the fields of Automobiles, General Electrician, Electronics, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

The Institute will be equipped with modern state-of-the-art machinery, tools, equipment and teaching aids. Maximum efficacy will be ensured on the part of industrious teachers, who will provide quality education of a superlative degree.

The building is spacious and has the capacity to accommodate other courses and to cater to the changing demands of the industry.
