courses

The institute of technical education conducts short courses of 500 hours i.e 6 months duration. Following technical courses / trades are offered initially in DITE.

  1. General Electrician
  2. Auto Mechanics
  3. Refrigeration and Air conditioning

These courses will appeal to those who are already in employment but interested in upgrading their know-how. The courses also cater to those who desire to learn a new craft without being employed in the field.

As the institute is affiliated with Sindh Board of Technical Education therefore, the students will be examined by the Sindh Board of Technical Education on the completion of the course.

other courses

Presently short certificate courses have been offered but we are planning to up grade up to the three years diploma courses from the month of July 2011.

After successful completion of first year it is planned to introduced two new courses i.e. Auto Electrician and Electronics from the month of July 2011.

It is hoped that within three years of time it will become full fledge polytechnic institute.

class timing

Presently only one shift from 8:30 to 12:45 p.m has been introduced but gradually we are planning to introduce second shift from the month of Jan. 2011.

general information

  • The institute places emphasis on hard work and discipline. Students are encouraged to make the best possible use of their time at the institute. With this end, the institute expects a high standard of conduct. Serious offences and indisciplinary action are punishable to the extent of dismissal from the institution.
  • Attendance and punctuality are of utmost importance. Students who fail to attend sufficient classes will lose their enrollment.
  • Late coming is not permitted. Personal or service obligation does not qualify for absence or late arrival.
  • The management of the institution expect from the students that the instructions issued by the management from time to time, must be followed.
