Defence Housing Authority most valuable contribution towards the civil society has not just been its housing and residential sector but its objective of providing quality education to all and sundry. Providing education whether basic or technical is perhaps the greatest contribution which could be made in the difficult conditions which prevail in our country today. Our country’s solidarity rests on the shoulders of its educated and skilful masses and this is the vision that D.H.A upholds for future.

In pursuance of its vision to promote a legacy of learning, the Directorate of Education has traversed another milestone by establishing the Defence Institute of Technical Education (DITE). The prime objective of this new project is to impart quality of instruction to the young generation in the vast spectrum of curricular education alongwith vocational guidance and training, geared to the latest demands and modern requirements of the new millennium.
