ABOUT college

SKBZ School was established in the Building donated by Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zaid in April 1988. 400 boys were transferred from DHA Model High School phase IV. In Sep 1988 school was upgraded to Inter College. Both school and college remained affiliated with federal board until 1993 when it was affiliated with Karachi board on the request of DHA residents. In Aug 1990 College boys were shifted to newly established Defence Authority Degree College and the school continued to function up to secondary level. In January 2001, the school was again upgraded to college level.

The campus covers an area of 25,000 sq yds including a ground + two-storeyed building for the school and a separate three storeyed block for the college section with a hockey, football and a cricket field. There is sufficient open area for Morning Assembly and recreation during recess. Besides, there are lush green lawns and play items for Montessori classes.

Location

The college is located in the heart of Defence Housing Authority. In Phase VI on Khayaban-e-Rahat, a link road between Khayaban-e-Ittehad and Khayaban-e-Hafiz. Moreover, it is connected through metalled roads from all around providing an easy approach. The location is ideal for healthy learning, being away from the disturbing din and glamour of a town.
