ABOUT SCHOOL

DA Tooba High School was established in 1987 by Fatima Sultan Foundation. Defence Housing Authority (DHA) took its charge in 1989, since then it is monitored and assisted by DHA. In 2003 it was upgraded to a High School and affiliated with the Board of Secondary Education Karachi.

The school started its functions with only 24 students on board having just two class rooms. Till date, it has nearly 780 students studying in 25 class rooms.

In the beginning it was an Urdu medium school. Now there is a gradual change in medium of instruction and this year till class VIII, its medium is English. In classes IX & X the medium of instruction is Urdu. Till 2011 the school will completely work as an English medium School.
