• Asphalt Base has been completed on almost all the streets in Sector A of Phase-VIII ie from 15th Street till 41st Street.
• Work on Zulfiqar Streets however will be executed by separate contractor
  

Al-Murtaza Commercial Area

Work has commenced in June 2009. Work on construction of internal streets and lying of water supply lines is in progress.

SECTOR-B

• Embankment work is almost 95 percent completed.
• Laying of sewerage line using FC pressure pipes is in progress
• As per decision of EBM this partial area of Sector B ie between Kh-e-Ghalib and Kh-e-Faisal is expected to be opened for construction by Dec 2009. Contractor M/s NLC is already working on this project to meet the dead line of Dec 2009.
