Asphalt Base completed
from Cogen Plant till 16th Street by 23 Mar 09. Road has opened
for traffic henceforth.
Construction of service
lanes is in progress. Aggregate Base Course has been laid on
both service lanes.
Construction of storm water drain is
in progress. 50 percent of drain work has been completed.
Remaining work is expected to be completed
by Sep 2009.
Kh-e-Shaheen
Asphalt base
course has been completed from Kh-e-Iqbal till Creek Vistas,
to facilitate traffic to schools.
Work on remaining
portion i.e. adjacent to Creek Vistas & O&A Level school
is currently being undertaken on top most priority and it is
planned to make this portion of the road ready for traffic before
opening of school
DHA bachat bazaar Approach Roads
Asphaltic Base
Course completed from Kh-e-Ittehad upto Kh-e-Babar in Phase-VIII
in order to facilitate traffic to new Sunday Bazaar. Easy accessibility
has been provided by carpeting of following roads leading in
and out of newly constructed Sunday Bazaar in Phase-VIII.

Kh-e-Babar
Saba Avenue
Asphalt Base Course has been completed
from Kh-e-Ittehad upto Kh-e-Iqbal in Phase-VIII in order to facilitate
traffic to complex of schools located on this major thoroughfare.
Kh-e-Qasim
Asphalt Base Course completed from
Kh-e-Shaheen till 26th Street & from Saba Avenue upto 36th Street.
Work on remaining portions of this road is in full swing.
Kh-e-Arafat
This road is originated from 16th
Street in Sector B of Phase-VIII and terminates at Beach Avenue.
Work on this 60ft wide arterial road has been completed from 16th
Street till Saba Avenue by 30 Jun 2009. Complete road is expected
to be ready for mobility by Aug 09. Asphalt work on this road
is being undertaken on priority as after its completion this road
will interlink traffic moving on 120 ft wide Beach Avenue direct
access to 16th Street which is also 120 ft wide major through
fare.
16th Street
This is a 120 ft
wide major arterial road which originates from Beach Avenue (near
Creek Marina) and terminates near Creek Vistas at Kh-e-Tipu Sultan.
Work on this major artery has started in June 2009 and currently
work on construction of embankment is in progress. Target to complete
this road is 12 months.
