A new generation of modern Bachat Bazaar has recently been completed by DHA. The new Bazaar has been made in the near vicinity of the old Sunday Bazaar Complex which was inadequate to cater for the consumers growing requirements. The new Bazaar would provide a good shopping arena to the residents to buy the items of domestic use on every Sunday and Wednesday. The new Bachat Bazaar located in Sector E of DHA Phase-VIII and spread over an area of approx 25.5 acres which is almost double the area of the old Sunday Bazaar.

The roof top of Bazaar area is covered with fiber glass and there are 12 feet pathways with colourful tiles between the sheds. 1850 elegantly designed stalls with covered tops will be setup in the Bazaar which is double the number of stalls present in the existing DHA Sunday Bazaar.

A significant feature of the Bachat Bazaar is provision of comfortable rest areas with 18 large size tastefully coloured fiber glass sheds and 200 benches to sit/relax. A Food Court and Children Playing Area are also part of the new complex. Public toilet facility has also been provided in the Bazaar. Two spacious properly developed parking areas have also been added. Roads leading to new Bazaar Area have been reconstructed and carpeted which include Kh-e-Shujaat, 26th Street and Road Loop including Kh-e-Babar.

Street Lights have been installed in the area and a Vigilance Hut for monitoring/security purpose also been established. Leading national and multi national franchise will also establish their sale points/outlets at the venue to create shopping attraction for the public.
