Creek Avenue

A 4.5 KM 100 ft wide dual carriageway has been constructed to provide alternate route of entry into DHA and to ease traffic on Khyaban-e-Ittehad.

Khayaban-e-Shahbaz

Work on the up gradation of 4.7 KM Khyaban-e-Shahbaz has been completed. It has two lanes on each side with an extra service, parking lane and a footpath.

The congestion due to ever growing population and limitations of narrow roads req detailed study and futuristic planning. For the improvement of traffic management NESPAK was asked to carrying out traffic study with following objectives.

To finalize short term and mid term traffic improvement plan.
Complete modeling of short term and long term plan (20 years) up to 2026.
Recommendation of traffic management for all sectors of transportation including carriageway width, intersection Geometries, signalization traffic control devices & public transport system etc.

DHA has already started work on short term plan in which Kh-e-Shamsheer, Kh-e-Mujahid and Kh-e-Shaheen will be converted into one way roads.
