Karachi, Mar 22: DHA and its institutions accord highest priority to helping and sharing the joys of life with the weak and vulnerable segments of society. Defence Authority Model High School (DAMHS) Beach View and Defence Authority Zamzama Club jointly hosted an exciting event on the eve of Pakistan Day for the students of Karachi Vocational and Training Centre (KVTC), comprising mentally arraigned and physically handicapped students. The students of DA Model High School Beach View joined the students of KVTC to bolster their confidence and to share moments of happiness with them by bringing them in main stream activity.

KVTC students participated enthusiastically in various games and events including singing, dance performances on music, futsal, racing and cricket. The students were delighted to find main stream students, staff and Secretary Zamzama Club playing and actively participating with them in various games and activities. KVTC students were given gifts and prizes as a source of encouragement and delight for them. It was a day filled with fun, activity and gaiety which the students thoroughly enjoyed.

Principal DAMHS Beach View Ms Saima Afzal said that at her school apart from excellence in academics the values of life are inculcated in students to make them useful citizens who can contribute for the society.

Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hassan Ali commended the dynamic initiative of Principal DA MHS Beach View and Secretary DA Zamzama Club for their meaningful and noble initiative. He said that helping the community and people in need is the greatest service to humanity, a philosophy to which DHA is exuberantly committed as its social corporate responsibility.
