Karachi, Nov 14: DHA College and School System (DHACSS) Iqra Campus is an exclusive institution that imparts a unique combination of academic and religious education to young students to produce enlightened and educated individuals of the society. 27th All Karachi Inter Schools Hifzul Quran and Husn-e-Qirat Competition 2018 was held under aegis of DHACSS Iqra Campus at the Auditorium of DHACSS Degree College for Women Phase-VIII Campus. Students from reputed institutions of Karachi participated in the contest. Maulana Imadullah; religious Scholar and Member Council of Islamic Ideology, Govt of Pakistan was the chief guest on the occasion.
In Hifz-ul-Quran Competition, Abdul Rehman Ahmad of DHACSS Model High Phase-VII Campus got first position, Muhammad Faheem of DHACSS Tooba Campus stood 2nd and Hooriya of Dukhtar-e-Awam Trust Girls High School got 3rd position. In Husn-e-Qirat Competition, Muhamamd Ikrama of DHACSS Iqra Campus stood first, Syed Fakhar Hassan of DHACSS DAPS O&A Level Phase-VIII Campus stood 2nd and Afia Shoaib of DHACSS Model High School Phase-IV Campus got 3rd position. Winner's Trophy was won by DHACSS Tooba Campus while DHACSS Iqra Campus was runner up.
Principal Hafiz Tahir Abdullah Siddiqui highlighted the significance of primary education with Hifz-e-Quran. He said that the school besides academics laid great stress on inculcating sound moral and true Islamic values in the students to make them forward looking and progressive citizens of society.
At the end, the chief guest distributed certificates and shields among the position holders. A shield was also awarded to the chief guest.
