DHA Karachi built the DHA Karachi App as a free app. This service is provided by DHA Karachi at no cost and is intended for use as-is. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through the DHA Karachi App.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

    1. Camera Data
      1. Capture a live photo of your face.
      2. Take a snap of your fingers.
      3. This data is used solely to verify your identity against our official DHA member database and, when necessary, against external government databases.
    2. Location Data
      1. We access your device’s GPS location only when you press the Emergency Panic Button in the app.
2. Purpose of Collection

  1. Camera Images
    1. Verify your identity as a DHA member.
    2. Secure access to member services such as DHA Membership, Properties-related Services (Leases, Transfer, Hiba, etc.), and payments.
    3. Prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
    4. Validate your identity with third-party government agencies such as NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority), when necessary.
  2. Location Data
    1. Accurately determine your physical location during an emergency when the Panic Button is pressed.
    2. Enable DHA security teams and emergency responders to reach you quickly and efficiently.

Note: Location is collected exclusively during Panic Button emergencies and not during regular app use.

3. Data Storage and Security

  1. All photos, location data, and personal information are securely encrypted and transmitted to our private servers hosted at DHA Karachi Head Office.
  2. We apply strict security protocols to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
4. Data Sharing

  1. We do not sell or rent your personal data. However, we may share your information under the following conditions:
  2. With NADRA or other government-authorized entities for identity verification purposes.
  3. With DHA security and emergency teams during Panic Button activation to provide timely assistance.
  4. When required by law, regulation, court order, or government request.
  5. To detect or prevent fraud or security threats.
  6. With your explicit consent.
  7. We ensure that all third-party recipients are bound by strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.
5. User Consent

  1. Grant access to your device’s camera.
  2. Allow us to collect and process your image and finger snaps for identity verification.
  3. Allow us to collect and process your device location only during Panic Button emergencies.
  4. Share your data with NADRA for further verification, if required.
  5. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
6. Your Rights

  1. Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  2. Request correction or deletion of your data, subject to verification.
  3. Withdraw your consent (note: this may limit your access to app services).
7. Children’s Privacy

  1. This app is intended for use by individuals 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18.
8. Changes to This Policy

  1. We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. All changes will be posted within the app and reflected in the Play Store listing. Continued use of the app after such updates will signify your acceptance of the revised policy.
